James Lynn Granum Jr. - How to Become a Great Surfer

Coastal natives around the world know how much fun surfing can be. James Lynn Granum Jr. loves to surf during his free time. He is an expert scuba diver and a marine mammal enthusiast. He loves taking every opportunity to spend time near the ocean. He has spent years developing his skills on a surf board. He always recommends surfing to any friend who wants to spend more time in the ocean.

If you want to become an excellent swimmer, the first step is to take lessons. Most cities and towns that are on the beach have some sort of surfing instructions or classes. It is important for you to learn how to stand on your surfboard while in the water, as well as how to maintain your balance. Most surf instructors have their students practice on the sand before they go into the ocean.

The second step is to practice in shallow waters. Before you take on the big waves, try the small waves first. If you are in shallower water, and are closer to the shore, it may then be easier to save yourself if/when you fall. This can also help you become comfortable with being in the water. The last thing you want to do while surfing is panic, so you should take the time to get used to the movements of the water. The last step is to surf regularly. The more you surf, the better you will become.

James Lynn Granum Jr. has been surfing for years, and loves the feeling of being in the water and on the waves.
